In a recent interview with CNN, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer actively dodged the question on whether or not he would vote for the CR bill to avoid a government shutdown if the Republicans don’t negotiate in good faith, indicating that he’ll cave to their demands like last time. I find this concerning and frankly unacceptable that Federal leadership in the Democratic Party is doing relatively little to stop the Trump Administration’s dangerous agenda, which has already caused harm to countless Americans. I implore you to strongly push for voting NO on the CR bill if Senate Republicans do not act in good faith. Federal Democrats need to start fighting dirty, as we’re quickly sliding into authoritarianism.
