Government is doing to citizens what corporations have done to customers: degrading the service, eliminating accountability, and betting that people have nowhere else to go. I need you to fight that. Oppose any measure that cuts public-facing services, guts consumer protections, or hands government functions to private contractors who profit from making things worse. This isn't abstract. Insurance companies deny life-saving claims through systems engineered to outlast sick people. Private equity guts beloved brands and leaves behind a logo on a cheaper product. Airlines charge more for less space. Every institution has quietly learned it can degrade what it sells and lose almost nothing. When government adopts that same logic — four-minute doctor visits, automated customer service that hangs up on you, fees for services that don't exist — it stops being government and becomes just another extraction machine. You have the power to draw a line. Demand transparency in government contracting. Support strong consumer protection enforcement. Block legislation that rewards degradation over accountability. The people you represent are already exhausted from being squeezed by every institution in their lives. Don't let government be one more.
