End the Constitutional Crisis and Suppory the Release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia

On March 23rd, Senator Schumer said on NBC's Meet the Press: "If [Trump] defies the Supreme Court, then we are in uncharted territory ... our entire democracy is at risk. I believe that if Donald Trump should defy the courts, the public will rise up. Democrats will fight it in every single way." Well, that time is now. On Sunday, the Justice Department said in court filings that they were not required to comply with a Supreme Court order to bring back Kilmar Abrego Garcia from El Salvador, depsite admitting his deportation was due to an administrative error. Today, Trump suggested he would also like to deport legal US citizens to El Salvador. Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen released a letter today stating he would travel to El Salvador to discuss Garcia's release. Please support his efforts. Allowing even one person to be wrongly kidnapped and deported to a mega prison in a foreign country sets us on a slippery slope for this administration to disappear anyone they accuse of criminal activity with no guarantee of being able to ever return home.
