I am disappointed that the only bit of leverage Senate Democrats have to protect against rising medical costs and SNAP benefits is being bartered away on empty promises. I voted for you to represent OUR best interests--not to kick the can down the road in hopes of something else. Our suffering should not be for naught. I hope you do what is right and vote for the American people, vote against this supposed compromise and fight for a better deal. We are counting on you t o ensure that all this was worth it.
