We are absolutely horrified by the Pentagon’s plan to livestream the December 3 execution of Nidal Hasan. This is deplorable! A public execution puts us in the company of countries like Iran, Afghanistan, and North Korea. It’s morally repugnant. The UN says it constitutes torture. If our children see this, it will traumatize them for life. Congress needs to do anything and everything it can to stop it. And Pete Hegseth needs to be impeached now. He’s unfit to stay in his position for one day more. Also, ICE is out of control and must be abolished and rebuilt from the ground up. Defund them now!
