Demand Accountability: Extrajudicial Killings, Stolen Jets, and January 6 Slush Funds

You need to act. The administration is conducting missile strikes on boats in the Caribbean and Pacific, killing 192 people with no arrests, no trials, and no evidence presented to the public. The Pentagon calls them "narco-terrorists," but that's a label, not a conviction. Rodrigo Duterte is sitting in The Hague right now facing crimes against humanity charges for doing exactly this. Where is Congress? That's not even the full picture. Trump accepted a billion-dollar Boeing 747 from Qatar and reportedly plans to take it when he leaves office. A proposed $1.7 billion IRS lawsuit settlement would create a fund under his sole control to pay January 6 insurrectionists — potentially $1 million each — while the 140 officers assaulted that day get nothing. These aren't policy disagreements. They are abuses that demand a congressional response. Hold hearings. Subpoena records. Use every oversight tool available. Your constituents are watching whether you treat these as the emergencies they are or let them quietly become normal.
