Vote NO on Bove’s Confirmation

To: Sen. Schumer, Rep. Meng, Sen. Gillibrand

From: A constituent in Maspeth, NY

June 30

Trump's alarming endorsement of Emil Bove as a federal judge raises serious concerns about his willingness to undermine the rule of law and judicial independence. A lifetime appointment should never be a reward for blind loyalty or a means to advance a partisan agenda at the expense of justice and democracy. Bove's young age of 44 means his potential impact could extend for decades, far outlasting Trump's presidency. I urge you to reject this reckless nomination and uphold the vital principle that judges must interpret the law impartially, free from inappropriate influences or political agendas. The judiciary's integrity and the nation's system of checks and balances are at stake. A "yes" vote would enable further erosion of democratic norms and constitutional protections. Preserving an independent judiciary is essential for safeguarding rights and liberties. I hope you will stand firm in defense of these fundamental values by voting no on Bove's confirmation.
