I am concerned at a humanitarian level about possible war crimes or murders at sea related to Operation Southern Spear. I am also deeply alarmed by what appears to be an escalating drum beat for a war with Venezuela. This may serve the interests of oil companies. It does not serve the interests of national security, global security, the American people or the US military. Congress must act to keep us all safe.
