KOSA is bad for the economy

To: Rep. Burlison, Sen. Schmitt, Sen. Hawley

From: A constituent in Springfield, MO

March 6

If everyone in the United States is required to do online age verification checks simply to use the internet, how many do you think will actually do it? How many do you think will stop doing it if their data gets leaked—as has already happened in states and countries that have passed age verification laws? Do you think people will want to go on Amazon or other online storefronts if they’re forced to have their ID checked every single time? What do you think that will do for the economy? KOSA is bad for business, senator. It’s bad for the economy. Do not support KOSA.
