Begin impeachment proceedings against Donald Trump. At a rally in Grand Island, Nebraska, Trump publicly suggested Iran should "take out" Los Angeles and San Diego, calling the potential destruction of two major American cities "a very small price to pay." The crowd cheered. This is not a gaffe — it is a president openly inviting a foreign adversary to attack 13 million of his own constituents.
The White House spin that Trump was merely describing a hypothetical threat doesn't hold up. He said "let 'em take out Los Angeles, let 'em take out San Diego." That's not analysis. That's incitement. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass called it dangerous and said it could "potentially compromise our safety." San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria said his city is "not collateral damage." Even a Trump-endorsed Republican candidate from San Diego broke with him over these remarks.
A president who publicly encourages foreign attacks on American cities has violated the most basic obligation of the office. Start the process to remove him.
