Chuck Schumer needs to step down and minority leader and you need to put someone who actually represents the voters in charge. Voting for the continuing resolution was a mistake and this dead fish approach the Democratic Party is taking is a joke. You are going to lose more of your base to disenfranchisement because we keep voting for you and nothing changes. Money is still in politics and getting worse. You had the opportunity to pass meaningful legislation many times in the past with democratic majorities but you fell and tried to be bi partisan as the GOP continued to play hard ball. You have to play their game but you don’t and now you’re behind and down. Hoping that Trump ruins this country and you get more votes is a bad idea. With someone in the White House who steps on the constitution and rule of law daily, we probably don’t have 2 years to wait. They are deporting people as terrorists when they may or may not be gang members. Where does that stop? When do US citizens who speak out against the administration start getting rounded up and sent to Guantanamo? Will I be denied entry into the US if I leave because I post something on Instagram that is anti Trump or anti musk? I wish you luck because you’re our only hope. White nationalists are allowed to parade around Boston unhindered, while other protests are put under supervision by police.
