I am writing to urge you to oppose keeping Rep. Hakeem Jeffries as House Majority Leader and Sen. Chuck Schumer as Senate Majority Leader. Both have demonstrated a consistent record of supporting policies that harm working people, expand military spending, and advance corporate interests over public welfare. Their leadership has not delivered for the communities that need it most — and it will not, under their current vision. I support a candidate who will fight for: - A ceasefire and an end to U.S. funding for the genocide in Gaza - Medicare for All and cancellation of all student debt - A Green New Deal that creates union jobs and phases out fossil fuels - Abolishing the filibuster and ending gerrymandering - Housing as a human right, including rent control and massive public housing investment I expect you to nominate and support a leader who shares these priorities, not one who has spent decades defending the status quo.
