It is the constitutional duty of Congress assert to remove a lawless president from power. The citizens of the United States demand that you, as a United States representative, file Articles of Impeachment against Donald J. Trump for any one of the litany of high crimes & misdemeanors he has committed over the past year. We demand that any articles filed against Trump’s lawless cabinet also name Donald Trump for his role in spearheading their actions. We demand that you act with urgency, not resorting to “traditional, yet unnecessary, committee referrals and drawn out investigations while this administration costs lives and dismantles the rule of law at a breakneck pace. We demand that you invoke Rule IX to force a vote on existing articles impeachment, and keep impeaching and forcing votes. Put this body on record as to where members stand at this critical juncture for our nation. It is each member’s duty to uphold and defend the Constitution every day, not only when one “has the votes”. We demand that you not wait for imperiled midterm elections to do your job. This administration has no intention of honoring the outcomes. We urge you to adhere to Article II, Section 4 of the US Constitution to avoid the violent alternative of a tyrant who will cling to power at all costs. You will be held to account. Very sincerely.
