Please condemn Trump's recent statement targeting Democrats: "Now with the death of Iran, the greatest enemy America has is the Radical Left, Highly Incompetent, Democrat Party! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DJT" This is a call to hatred. It is also a way to gin up stochastic violence. It is a wicked misuse of the presidential bully pulpit to foment hatred and division. Words matter. Words change peoples minds and hearts; words shape our culture. Do you remember when John McCain confronted a woman who said that she couldn't trust Obama? And he said "no ma'am he's a decent family man that I just happen to have disagreements with." That's the way to do it. Don't reinforce a bad message by repeating it: say the opposite. Set the example of using words well, to unite, not divide.
