Prevent Corporate Overreach and Economic "Resets"

To: Rep. Bergman, Sen. Peters, Sen. Slotkin

From: A constituent in Beulah, MI

April 6

I am writing to demand immediate legislative action to protect the American people from radical economic "resets" initiated by wealthy organizations and the top 1% that bypass democratic consent. When the 1% and corporate CEOs initiate changes that fundamentally alter our food systems, housing security, and financial infrastructure, the people have a fundamental right to organized, lawful retaliation and self-defense. We demand the following protections and consequences: 1 Independent Third-Party Audits: Establish an independent, people-driven entity to identify and publicly track the specific individuals and CEOs responsible for policies that destabilize public infrastructure or essential resources. 2 Economic Consequences: Any organization found to be manipulating food or housing supplies for the purpose of a "reset" must face immediate revocation of corporate charters, total loss of tax subsidies, and heavy antitrust penalties. 3 Right to Financial Retaliation:Legally protect the right of the people to engage in mass divestment, boycotts, and the creation of alternative, localized financial and food systems as a direct response to corporate overreach. 4 CEO Liability: Hold executive leadership personally, legally, and financially liable for the social and economic damage caused by radical alterations to the country's essential infrastructure. Our housing, food, and financial stability are not tools for social engineering. I urge you to stand with the people and codify these consequences to ensure that no small group of wealthy individuals can overwrite the survival and rights of the majority.
