I'm a parent who is deeply concerned about the level of gun violence and the safety of our children. No parent should have to worry their child isn't coming home from school. This is absurd and we cannot call ourselves "the greatest country" if this is the kind of life we're all accepting. Stop bowing to the gun lobby. What are YOU doing to make our children safer? What legislation or prevention initiatives have you supported?
