Quoting Roxanne Gay’s Feb 3 essay in NYT. I couldn’t say it better “ ICE must be abolished. Congress must, once and for all, develop modern, humane immigration policies that create pathways to citizenship for anyone who wants to come to this land of abundance. And we must rethink what immigration enforcement looks like, divesting it from the private prison-industrial complex and greed and bigotry as catalysts for mass deportations.”
