Have Courage and Determination

To: Sen. Padilla, Rep. Levin, Sen. Schiff, Pres. Trump

From: A constituent in San Juan Capistrano, CA

May 29, 2025

The videos out of the pediatric ward of Nasser hospital have made me lose all hope in humanity. Three months under Israeli blockade without access to any nutrition. These children are beyond malnourished. I have never been so disgusted in my government. Your willingness to let these innocent children waste away into skin and bones as the world watches in horror. Have you no decency. You need to be doing everything in your power to stop this genocide NOW. Siwar Ashour is five months old and she is crying from unbearable suffering and selective starvation. Imagine if that was your baby girl. What would you do? These children are just collateral damage to our governments reckless greed. While exposed to the elements and fighting to stay alive Palestinian civilians are being meticulously starved, terrorized, rounded up and tortured by the Israeli Regime. But somehow our taxes keep bankrolling this slaughter? You are damning your souls to Hell. How dare you treat your citizens hard earned money like this. Your constituents deserve to know that they can trust their government. However you all continue to act like puppets instead of standing up for what is good and just. What good are we as a world superpower if we have been so corrupted by gluttony. Is it all just a joke to you? These people have entire worlds inside of them and they are being wiped from existence. Show some backbone. Get aid into Gaza now. Stop this ridiculous blockade. Stand up to Israel, cut their allowance and condemn their actions. It is not too late to do the courageous thing.
