The Trump administration has spent more than a year insisting we cannot afford public spending that actually helps us, from cancer research to child care. Now, Trump is asking for much as $200 billion in supplemental appropriations to continue his war on Iran, on top of the Pentagon’s trillion-dollar budget! So apparently we have billions just lying around ready to spend on a war of choice none of us chose. The billion dollars a day they’re already spending could cover all the cuts they made to Medicaid and the ACA tax credits! I don't want defense contractors and fossil fuel companies to get richer oon this illegal war while wirking Americans are struggling to pay bills!! Do not pour money into another endless war to keep our troops safe. We can protect them by enfing Trump’s unnecessary conflict NOW!! Do not approve any more money for the war in Iran. And introduce and vote on another war powers resolution to exert Congress's constitutional authority over military conflict!
