Stop unjust deportation of U.S. citizen children

To: Pres. Trump, Rep. Evans, Sen. McCormick, Sen. Fetterman

From: A constituent in Philadelphia, PA

April 27

The deportation of U.S. citizen children from our nation is a gross violation of human rights and the principles upon which this country was founded. Forcibly separating families and deporting young children, some in delicate medical conditions, is an inhumane and unacceptable practice that must be halted immediately. As elected representatives, you have a moral and legal obligation to investigate these alarming cases thoroughly, provide accountability and transparency, and take decisive action to prevent such unjust deportations from ever occurring again. Protecting the rights of citizens, especially vulnerable minors, should be a top priority. Upholding the values of compassion and due process is essential for maintaining the integrity of our nation's immigration system and safeguarding the wellbeing of all those residing within our borders. Decisive measures must be taken to ensure no child is subjected to this traumatic ordeal and that families can remain united without fear of unjust separation.
