Oppose bad internet bills and protect Section 230

To: Rep. Carter, Sen. Warnock, Sen. Ossoff

From: A constituent in Hinesville, GA

September 11, 2025

I'm writing again to urge you to oppose KOSA, IODA, STOP CSAM, BlockBEARD, the SCREEN Act, KOSMA, APCA, and the Foreign Copyright Act. These acts only expose families to hacking, spying, data theft, leaks, and censorship of legal platforms and media, creating 'hunting grounds' for predators. ROBLOX had enacted duty of care and that opened it up to groomers and predators who abused the system. The Online Safety Act has led to more leaks and security breaches than before, all the while enriching big tech and age verification brokers by allowing them to steal and sell kids' data. Age verification and censorship have failed families. It's time for better solutions than these bills.
