Just a thought this morning… why are we bailing out Argentina? Imho, 20 billion dollars could be used in this country… these are our tax dollars . Trump and congressional sycophants have prioritized the $20 billion bailout of Argentina’s failing economy as essential, so it will proceed. The bailout will help right-wing leader Javier Milei, a Trump ally. The bailout will also help billionaire hedge fund manager Rob Citrone, an associate of Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent who has invested heavily in Argentine companies and in Argentine debt.  To echo Sen. Chuck Grassley: “Why would USA help bail out Argentina while they take American soybean producers’ biggest market??? We shld use leverage at every turn to help hurting farm economy Family farmers shld be top of mind in negotiations by representatives of USA,” Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said on X Thursday. President Donald Trump’s $20 billion financial backstop for his ally, Argentina’s leader Javier Milei, is running into growing opposition. We need health care for ALL Americans — and all legal immigrants…. Not bailouts for Trump’s buddies. Oh… and by-the-way… we need health care… not a ballroom. The White House says construction of Trump’s ballroom in place of the East Wing of the White House will also continue during the shutdown.  Get your priorities straight — listen to your constituents!
