Stop DOJ's Campaign to Erase Transgender People's Legal Existence

Speak out now against the DOJ's legal campaign to strip transgender people of medical care and legal recognition. In federal court this week, DOJ attorneys argued that denying hormone therapy to all 600 transgender federal inmates on hormones isn't discrimination — because it applies to everyone equally. That's not a legal argument. That's a blueprint for erasing a group of people from the law entirely. The DOJ is weaponizing the Supreme Court's Skrmetti decision far beyond its scope, reframing every anti-trans policy as targeting "gender dysphoria" rather than transgender people — a shell game designed to make discrimination invisible to courts. A DOJ attorney openly admitted the end goal is discontinuing hormone therapy for every transgender federal inmate. Withholding medically necessary treatment from 600 people to make them conform or suffer isn't policy. It's cruelty with a legal brief attached. This administration is building a legal framework to deny transgender people's existence across every age and context. That framework will not stop at prison walls. You have a responsibility to use your platform and your office to call this out and fight it. I need you to act.
