Respect Supreme Court ruling, facilitate Abrego Garcia's return

To: Sen. Slotkin, Sen. Peters, Rep. Moolenaar

From: A constituent in Rockford, MI

May 10

The administration must comply with the Supreme Court's unanimous 9-0 ruling to facilitate the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the United States. Defying this order sets a dangerous precedent that undermines the rule of law and the constitutional balance of powers. Abrego Garcia is entitled to due process, and the court's decision was clear that this requires his presence in the country. Ignoring the nation's highest court threatens the foundations of our democratic system of checks and balances. Abiding by court orders is not optional, regardless of personal views on the case. Upholding the judiciary's authority is essential for maintaining a functional government bound by the Constitution. The administration has a duty to respect the Supreme Court's legally binding order and promptly arrange for Abrego Garcia's repatriation to have his case properly adjudicated. I urge you to vocally support our US Constitution, separation of powers, and rule of law. Enforce the law!
