EPA Solar Program CANCELLED????

To: Rep. Keating, Sen. Markey, Sen. Warren

From: A constituent in Harwich, MA

October 20, 2025

My wife and I purchased a home in Harwich. We were considering installing solar panels on the home with an estimated cost of $33,000.00. The result of the EPA withdrawing the federal funding for this program makes the installation too expensive. It would have saved us $2400 annually in electrical bills, employed local companies for the roof and installation, and helped the environment. The EPA’s handling of his is obscene, given the energy and environmental emergency. I support the current lawsuit against the EPA to reinstate the funding for this program.
