I am urging you to assert your congressional powers and keep us out of another disastrous war in the Middle East. The power to declare war rests with Congress not the executive. Donald Trump has already usurped this power and ordered air strikes in Iran. Congress must act to stop this out of control administration. We cannot afford another deadly entanglement in the Middle East. You have all been elected to be the people’s voice and the American people over whelming do not want war.
