The proposed Paramount/Warner Brothers merger is a clear and present danger to consumers, the free press, and American democracy. It cannot be allowed to go through. The US Department of Justice should scrutinize and reject this deal, but in the meantime members of the Judiciary Committee need to hold a formal oversight hearing about it. Will the Senator push them to do so?
