Oppose the package bills in the House Energy Committee's 'child safety' package.
To: Sen. Ossoff, Rep. Carter, Sen. Warnock
From: A constituent in Hinesville, GA
November 11
Although KOSA has its Duty of Care provision removed, it is still a problem, along with the proposed bundle of bills being marked as 'must-pass' in the House Committee. S .1748, the Sammy Act, COPPA 2.0, the App Accountability Act, the SCREEN Act, the Interstate Obscenity Definition Act, KOSMA, APCA and BlockBEARD. It's alarming to see all of these bills getting proposed and not amended, reworked or rejected in spite of their numerous flaws and objections from civil liberties groups. Your seats are still vulnerable and I will remember your vote if you cosponsor or vote for any of the these bills. Please oppose everything in this package until it is less flawed or less invasive and censorious.
