It has been 17 days since Alex Pretti was killed. The public still has no answers. The federal agents involved were placed on paid administrative leave, but the government refuses to say whether they were reassigned, where they are stationed now, or whether they are interacting with other communities. Communities have a right to know whether officers involved in a fatal shooting are back in the field. This secrecy is unacceptable. Release the full use-of-force report, after-action report, and the current duty status and location of the agents involved. Transparency is the bare minimum.
