Vote against KOSA, and fix the Sammy Act and COPPA!

To: Sen. Warnock, Sen. Ossoff

From: A constituent in Hinesville, GA

November 10

In the last 8 years, laws targeting content in the Internet have created more harms than benefits. Kid-friendly spaces like Roblox have been hotbeds for exploitation and hacks, age verification has resulted in the removal and censorship of works that do not involve victims at all, AI is being permitted to steal from artists, authors and creators, sex workers are discriminated against and censored while they are exploited by law enforcement, victims of sexual assault and abuse can't have privacy or speak about their experiences for fear of being punished, victims can't use fictional content to cope, kids are still being trafficked and groomed and all the laws like FOSTA and SESTA have done is make things harder for investigators and law enforcement to prosecute confirmed crimes until it's too late. Stop the madness Vote against the House Energy Committee's online package.
