Investigate the corruption and abuses of the Trump administration without delay. Voters just delivered one of the most decisive midterm rebukes in American history. South Carolina, Texas, and Kansas will have Democratic senators. Georgia elected the country's first Black woman governor. That is not a subtle message. This administration eviscerated the federal government, launched retaliatory prosecutions against political opponents, and has actively covered up the president's ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Prices have soared again after Trump's tariff wars undid years of progress on inflation. The people who voted in extraordinary numbers on Tuesday were voting against exactly this. They want action, not acknowledgment. The mandate is clear: use every investigative tool available to expose what this administration has done. Democrats now control both chambers and have the power to act. Republicans who want a future in this party after Trump should understand that voters have already rendered their verdict on the MAGA agenda. Get to work.
