It’s embarrassing that the dems broke on the shut down. You had leverage and caved. It has become more apparent, painfully obvious from what the party’s messaging has been for the past 10 years, that democrats represent the interests of private wealth broadly. Republicans do the same but in a more targeted violent, dictatorial way. We need to fix the messaging and not play the “we’re not Trump” card again.
