NO FUNDS FOR ICE. DEMS: do not cave. Shame on Congress: Congress is no longer carrying out its constitutional roles and duties: It no longer approves when we go to war. It no longer decides tariff policy. It no longer acts as a meaningful check on the president's actions. So what exactly is Congress doing? It is enabling authoritarian rule; enabling fascism; allowing the president to rule, not govern, like a tyrant-- to wage war on citizens, undermine the courts, conduct a rash and illegal war, betray our allies and assist our foes, perpetrate war crimes and crimes against humanity. All with total impunity. Retired Colonel Wilkerson says: " "This administration has committed more war crimes in the last few days than any country since Adolf Hitler." I am grateful to all the Democratic members who still take the constitutional order seriously, as well as to the pair of GOP electeds who stand against their party's descent into dictator-enablers. Why are my tax dollars still funding salaries, pensions, and healthcare for a body of elected representatives and public servants who have collectively abnegated their sworn legal duty? And who tolerate law breaking, rule breaking, committing assault and other crimes among their members. Clean up your workplace. Censure and remove Sheehy for assault and Gonzales for his affair. Uphold The Constitution and block Presidential overreach, crimes, and lies. Block funding for ICE. Do it now while you still can.
