OPPOSE the SCREEN ACT S.737 and H.R.1623.
Oppose the SCREEN ACT. It is ostensibly a way to protect kids but it will not protect kids. It is a surveillance bill. The internet is not the same as being carded at a brick and mortar store. The requirements for this bill will need personally identicaliable information such as government-issued IDs and passports and face scans and all the like to be stored in a server in any degree. This will make Americans unsafe this will remove anonymity from the internet. And anonymity was absolutely key for our founding fathers to be able to resist tyranny. Anonymity is absolutely key for whistleblowers and the like. Anonymity is absolutely key for whistleblowers and the like. This will ruin that. Not to mention what is considered adult is incredibly subjective and the government should not engage in prior restraint. No agency should have this power because usually mental health topics helping with eating disorders and sexual health and identity Health like lgbtqia issues will be unjustly banned.
The people passing this bill have ties to ofcom and credit card companies and are a global conspiracy to deprive people of their rights as insured by the Constitution and the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights among other common law.
Anti-pornography groups are consistently involved with anti-lgbt lobbying groups that all pretend and use the pretext of protect the children. It will not keep us safe it will make sure to gather data on minors and adults alike. Of course we should protect kids but there's already resources and parental controls in place. The bill lies and say that they were insufficient.

Representative Mary Miller is engaging in a dangerous moral panic and should be resisted at all costs. It will be costly and it will damage our freedoms. Those who sacrifice safety for Liberty will get neither and deserve neither. The talk of safety is the wolf in sheep's clothing. The many people who sponsor these bills are associated with anti-porn hate groups that, through no uncertain terms, voice their anti-lgbt and bigoted rhetoric. The Electronic Frontier Foundation will come up with better Solutions. Contact them. Reject the STOP CSAM Act of 2025 (S. 1829), which would undermine services offering end-to-end encryption and force internet companies to take down lawful user content. Our laws are already sufficient in combating such things
