Senator Collins: apologise, show remorse, and change course
To: Sen. Collins
From: A verified voter in Lewiston, ME
July 15
Senator Collins
Please show some public remorse and demonstrate that you've learned a lesson.
You bankrolled ICE to the tune of 70 billion when it was already funded.
Money for body cameras? Sure but that's not the real problem.
More training? Sure but that's not the problem.
Nope: you've enabled the lawless terror by approving Trump's law breaking and agency wrecking nominees.
Admit you were wrong about trickledown economics and Trump's tax and budget bills.
Admitting errors is an honorable thing to do. Doubling down is the reverse.
Kavanaugh stops.
Dodds.
Yup: you own the deaths that result and you claim to be "proud" of your vote for Kavanaugh.
If you want to stand for decency, please make a public statement of remorse and repentance, apologise for your gullibility and partisan enabling.
It's not enough to stop traffic stops. Remember that past democratic presidents deporting more who needed to be deported without quotas and extra-judicial killings.
