i am a citizen in orlando and i have recently been made aware of ICEs presents in my city. I do not feel safe with them here, we don't need to turn into Minnesota. Ice needs to get out of our neighborhoods, it has done the opposite of make us safe it has made our lives more dangerous. There have been protests all over Florida trying to get ice out. I beg you to listen to the people, the majority of us do not want them in our communities. They will only lead to more violence and discomfort. They need to be more accountable and more transparent. Having masked untrained people with a police officers Authority is a recipe for disaster. They also take up a lot of funding that we could use to actually help people. The fact that I can murder or maim people and get away with it is appalling. Ice needs more accountability. It's happened before where anyone can get a black vest and cover their face and claim to be a ICE agent and commit crimes. Is not safe for anyone and it's not solving any problems. Please remove ice from our communities or at least give them stronger restrictions. I deeply fear we are falling to fascism.
