An Open Letter
To: Gov. Shapiro
From: A constituent in Plymouth Meeting, PA
April 24
You don't eliminate the dept of democracy, labor and human rights unless you plan to ignore all three. This was intentional. This was a warning. This was a playbook move. They fired the department that defends rights because they want to violate them. This isn't subtle it's regime change behavior. 1939. Let that sink in.
They want to track autistic children. Let that sink in. It started with tracking in 1939 too.
In Nazi Germany they tracked the disabled, they labeled them, they sterilized them, then they killed them. All under the lie of mercy, all sold as saving the country. They say autistic kids will never hold jobs, pay taxes, go on dates, write poems or use the bathroom alone. That's how they convince you. That's how they justify the next step. We need the dept of democracy, labor and human rights to: 1. monitor and defend human rights worldwide. 2. support civil society and free press. 3. Advocate for free and fair elections. 4. Protect religious and political freedom. 5. Track war crimes and atrocities.
By firing these departments we are being told exactly what no longer matters.
