Medicare can wait. NO ICE

To: Rep. Strickland, Sen. Cantwell, Sen. Murray

From: A verified voter in Olympia, WA

January 29

Dear Congresspeople, Please vote against funding ICE. Don't let us become the next Nazi Germany. I realize that by voting against this funding you will also be killing any hope of extending medicare's telehealth benefit. These things should not be connected and if there is a way to separate these two very different issues, please find it. Telehealth services are so important to me and to others in the medicare community. It is a barrier to service to not have them for literally anything we need. I, personally, have just begun paying out of pocket for a telehealth appointment rather than try to make an in person visit. In person visits are time an d energy consuming, require transportation, and expose me to viruses I prefer not to get. NO FUNDING FOR ICE. So yes, voting against this bill means I am asking you to vote against my best interest. In this case, however, it is necessary. Stand up to this regime.
