Demand for Expulsion Of Rep. Randy Fine for Endorsing Lethal Political Violence
To: Rep. Kelly
From: A constituent in Meadville, PA
January 8
I’m writing as a constituent and an American demanding the House immediately initiate disciplinary proceedings up to and including expulsion against Representative Randy Fine for remarks that effectively endorsed and celebrated lethal violence by a federal immigration officer in the killing of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis on January 7, 2026. Public reporting indicates Ms. Good was fatally shot by an ICE officer during an encounter that is now under investigation and the subject of intense public scrutiny. In that context—when any responsible public official should be urging restraint, due process, and respect for life—Rep. Fine went on national television and declared: • “If you impede the actions of our law enforcement … you get what’s coming to you.” • He further argued that anyone attempting to arrest the ICE agent should be arrested themselves. Those statements are not merely “controversial.” They are an elected member of Congress rationalizing and encouraging deadly force against political opponents and protesters—the kind of rhetoric that inflames violence, dehumanizes fellow Americans, and undermines the rule of law. This is incompatible with membership in the United States House of Representatives. The Constitution entrusts the House with the power to discipline its members for conduct that dishonors the institution. I am demanding that you: 1. Refer Rep. Fine immediately to the House Committee on Ethics for investigation of conduct unbecoming, incitement of hostility, and statements that appear to endorse unlawful or excessive use of force. 2. Remove Rep. Fine from any committee assignments and leadership roles while an investigation is pending. 3. Bring a resolution of censure to the floor without delay, at minimum. 4. If investigation confirms he endorsed or celebrated the killing, introduce and support a resolution of expulsion under Article I, Section 5 (with full transparency and recorded votes). No member of Congress should be allowed to use their platform to send the message that Americans who “get in the way” of federal action deserve death. That is authoritarianism—plain and simple. I expect a written response explaining what action you will take and on what timeline, and I expect House leadership to treat this with the urgency it warrants.
