I’m writing to urge youto oppose S. 5653, the Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act, in its current form. I specifically ask that the Senator push to remove or amend… the rollback of Section 106 historic preservation review and Tribal consultation, (and) “project certainty” provisions that lock in permits even when they’re unlawful, (and) taxpayer-funded payouts to developers * limits on courts’ ability to stop unlawful projects, (and) * cuts to the National Environmental Policy Act, Clean Water Act, and Endangered Species Act, (and) * giveaways of public lands to mining and drilling companies. Grid reform shouldn’t come at the cost of our public lands, clean water, and communities’ right to be heard. Thank you.
