I am writing to demand that you immediately denounce both Vladimir Putin and President Trump, and support impeachment and removal of Trump for acting as a Russian asset and betraying American national security interests. The evidence is overwhelming. On the night before President Zelensky's scheduled meeting with Trump in Florida, Russia launched a 10-hour assault on Kyiv using approximately 500 drones and 40 missiles. This attack killed at least two people, including a 71-year-old man, injured 32 others, and left a third of Ukraine's capital without power and heating in freezing temperatures around 1°C. About 4,000 residential buildings lost heat, affecting roughly 600,000 consumers. Emergency services evacuated 68 people from a retirement home in the Darnytskyi district. Russia systematically targeted civilian infrastructure throughout the Christmas period, including a December 23 strike on a Kyiv apartment block that killed a four-year-old child. The Trump regime's response reveals whose interests they serve. Rather than condemning Putin's deliberate targeting of retirement homes and apartment buildings, Trump continues to prioritize his personal relationship with a war criminal over American values and the security of our democratic allies. As Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk noted, Russia brutally attacked Kyiv's residential districts despite Zelensky's readiness to make concessions and contrary to Trump's expectations for peace. Putin timed this massacre to humiliate Trump's diplomatic efforts, yet Trump refuses to hold him accountable. This is not incompetence. This is collaboration. Trump and his administration, including JD Vance, are compromised. Vance should spend less time on couches and more time standing against Putin's aggression. Instead, the entire Trump regime enables Russian war crimes while undermining support for Ukraine. Every day they remain in office endangers our nation and emboldens a dictator who murders civilians. I demand that you publicly denounce both Putin and Trump, support articles of impeachment immediately, and vote to remove Trump from office. Our national security and the lives of innocent people depend on your action.
