Oppose Epstein-Document-Hider-in-Chief Todd Blanche’s Nomination to Lead DOJ I urge you to oppose the confirmation of Todd Blanche to lead the Department of Justice. Mr. Blanche has been the central official overseeing the review and release of Epstein-related records. He has defended decisions to withhold large categories of documents from public disclosure, and former Attorney General Pam Bondi publicly identified him as the official responsible for the process. As a result, he has become the face of decisions about what the public gets to see—and what remains hidden. Mr. Blanche also personally conducted the unusual prison interviews of Ghislaine Maxwell, a move that drew questions from former prosecutors and legal observers. Rather than increasing public confidence, these actions have deepened concerns about transparency and accountability. This is not about proving every allegation made by critics. It is about public trust. Millions of pages of Epstein-related material reportedly remain unreleased. Until the public has confidence that all appropriate records have been disclosed and that decisions were made impartially, Mr. Blanche should not be rewarded with promotion to the nation’s highest law-enforcement position. The Department of Justice must be above suspicion. A nominee who is already at the center of unresolved transparency concerns cannot effectively restore public confidence. Voters are watching closely. Many of us will remember how our senators vote on this nomination. Please vote no on Todd Blanche’s confirmation
