Defend Press Freedom: Condemn the FCC's Retaliation Against ABC

Speak out against FCC Chair Brendan Carr's unconstitutional campaign to punish ABC and Disney for their news coverage. This isn't regulation — it's retaliation, and it needs to stop.
Carr has spent 18 months weaponizing the FCC against a news organization whose content the president dislikes. He fielded over 600 document requests, demanded four years of hosts' political donation records, unilaterally stripped The View of its long-standing "bona fide news" exemption, and then ordered all eight ABC-owned stations to file early broadcast license renewals — something the FCC hadn't done in over 50 years — giving them just 30 days to comply. Trump made the motive plain: "Last time I went after them, they gave me $16 Million Dollars. This one sounds even more lucrative." That's extortion, not public interest regulation.
Disney and ABC have now sued the FCC in federal court for violating the First Amendment. They're right to fight back. The government has no business threatening broadcast licenses to coerce editorial decisions. I want you on record opposing Carr's abuse of the FCC's authority and supporting congressional oversight of this agency before it does permanent damage to press freedom.
