I am one of your constituents and am writing to express my fear and disgust at the abominable and dangerous actions of Elon Musk and his merry band of juvenile delinquents. These people are unilaterally taking apart our government. They have no authority, none are vetted, none have security clearances, and they operate in secrecy. We only know what they are doing when they announce what they have stopped, eliminated, or stolen. This is a direct assault on our Constitution.
To add insult to injury, it appears that the misinformation being circulated on social media is generated by and originates from Russia. This is an attack, pure and simple of a foreign government on America. It is no secret that Putin wants to destroy us, and here we are - Elon Musk is leading the charge, his buddies are the soldiers, and the President appears to be the figurehead Musk's army needs.
Where is the Republican Party? Their silence is deafening. It appears Project 2025 is actively being put into action, and yet the Republicans do nothing. Project 2025 is a blueprint for the shredding of the Constitution and the transition of our country to authoritarian rule. This is not who we are. We will stand with our Democratic partners, and we will fight.
The silence of the Republican Party makes them all complicit in the ruination of our government. They can stand up and stop this. Instead it appears their strategy is to let the courts do the work of stopping a tyrant and his figurehead from destroying the country. Rather than doing the job they were elected to do, they are abdicating their responsibility. They are actively participating in the dismantling of our government. Why? Power? Money?
The shame of this is the Republicans. The silence and inaction of the GOP is shameful.
