Demand DOJ Release Epstein Files and Hold Officials Accountable

I am writing to express my deep outrage regarding the abuses revealed in the released Epstein files and the Department of Justice's ongoing protection of perpetrators, including President Trump. Jeffrey Epstein was convicted on federal child sex trafficking charges in 2019 before his death in custody, yet critical evidence remains concealed from public view despite clear legal mandates. Representatives Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna have filed a discharge petition to force a vote on H.R. 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act. This bipartisan effort reflects widespread public demand for transparency. However, despite President Trump's 2024 campaign promise to release the Epstein client list, his DOJ has declined to release evidence. This broken promise and continued obstruction erode public trust in our justice system. I am asking you to take immediate action on multiple fronts. First, demand that the DOJ release all documents legally mandated by the Epstein Files Transparency Act without further delay. Second, call for public hearings and investigations into the alleged abuses revealed by the documents already released. The American people deserve to know the full scope of these crimes and who enabled them. Third, I urge you to call for the resignations of Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, and Deputy Todd Blanche for their roles in obstructing transparency and protecting perpetrators. Their continued leadership compromises the integrity of federal law enforcement. Finally, I ask that you support articles of impeachment against President Trump and move to convict him for his administration's obstruction of justice in this matter. His personal connections to Epstein and subsequent protection of evidence constitute a profound betrayal of public trust. Public trust has been shattered. Only full disclosure of the files and genuine accountability for those involved will restore faith that justice is being served rather than subverted. Our constituents deserve nothing less than complete transparency in cases involving the exploitation of children.
