An open letter to the U.S. Congress

American Civil Rights

5 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!

I am writing to express my outrage at Trump's attempt to eliminate every American citizen's right to civil liberties by freezing all civil rights cases currently being handled by the Justice Department. To further attack our civil rights as Americans, he has ordered Kathleen Wolfe not to allow civil rights attorneys to file any new complaints or other legal documents. This is outrageous. This is unAmerican. This is unconstitutional. This is an attack of the government on its own people. How the GOP can support this is unthinkable. I urge you to fight back on this action by the President. Take a stand and stand up for the civil rights of ALL Americans.
