Demand a Full Investigation Into Conditions Aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln

Demand a congressional investigation into what is happening aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln — right now, before another sailor goes over the side. Nearly 5,000 sailors and Marines have been deployed for over 260 days, more than 200 of them without a port call. Loved ones are reporting physical and psychological deterioration. Sailors have reportedly attempted or threatened to go overboard. The Navy acknowledges one sailor went into the water and was recovered alive. This is a crisis.
Pete Hegseth called these conditions "completely misrepresented." Trump, when asked if the Lincoln had been deployed too long, said "not nearly long enough." Meanwhile, families are afraid to put their names behind their concerns because they fear retaliation against the people they love on that ship. That is not a military that feels protected by its civilian leadership.
Drag Navy leadership and Hegseth before your committee. Ask about the food, supplies, sanitation, morale and psychiatric emergencies. Ask why families had to go public before Congress noticed. These sailors signed a blank check payable up to their lives. The least we owe them is someone in power demanding answers.
