Block budget increase for ICE

Any increase in funding for ICE will inevitably lead to more unconstitutional detentions and deportations of immigrants without due process. ICE is already unlawfully sending migrants to El Salvador and jailing them in notorious torture prisons, violating their basic human rights. Enabling this agency with a larger budget would be a grave injustice. We cannot turn a blind eye as families are torn apart and lives are destroyed through these reprehensible actions. Protecting civil liberties and upholding the constitutional rights of all people in this country should be our utmost priority. I urge you to stand firm against any budget proposal that expands ICE's capabilities for mass deportations and human rights abuses.
