An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Provide Air Defense Systems and Weapons to Protect Ukrainian Civilians

21 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

This horrific overnight attack by Russia on the residential areas of Kyiv is a blatant war crime and act of terrorism against the Ukrainian civilian population. Deliberately targeting apartment buildings and killing innocent civilians cannot be justified under any circumstances. The international community must condemn this atrocity in the strongest terms and take immediate action to provide Ukraine with robust military assistance to defend itself and protect its people from such indiscriminate violence. The Ukrainian military urgently needs advanced air defense systems, long-range artillery, and other vital weapons to counter Russia's relentless missile and drone strikes on cities. Civilian casualties will only continue to mount without strengthened support for Ukraine's armed forces to defend against these unjustifiable attacks on the Ukrainian people. Russia must be held accountable for these war crimes through further severe sanctions and prosecution of the perpetrators responsible.
