Reckless Cuts

I am writing to let you know about my concern about the cuts to government programming and the danger those cuts are causing. The President's reckless decision to put Elon Musk in charge of 'large-scale reductions in force' is having immediate and disastrous results. A poll from the Associated Press found that most Americans don't want to eliminate government programs. That poll found that most Americans believe that too little is spent on Social Security, education, aid for the poor, Medicare, and Medicaid. It turns out most Americans want secure social safety nets that they can depend on. Has the President or Musk considered this information? Doesn't appear that way. Contrary to what the President tells himself, he does not have a mandate to slash government and purge it of the diversity, equity, and inclusion programs that allow a level playing field for all Americans. Because of the illegal firings, five government employee unions are now suing. The firings violate formal procedures for reducing force. Because the firings have been so reckless, it appears that the National Nuclear Security Administration is now understaffed and unable to monitor the nation's nuclear weapons securely. Is this in the best interest of the country? Is this ok with the GOP? And it seems they can't find the people they fired so they can hire them back. Why? To what end? Where is the proof of fraud, waste, and abuse? So far, none has been produced. I want accountability from the GOP or the decisions being made. The silence of the GOP is an indictment of their willingness to participate in the criminal actions of this administration. They will be held responsible if they don't speak up.
